Okay, we're well into Summer, so by now there are three basic pieces you should have in your closet. The first is the boyfriend-blazer which was also trending last season, so there really isn't much of an excuse for not having one. I always love a slightly oversized and slouchy fit as opposed to a fitted one - this way you can dress it up for a night out, a casual look with a boyfriend-jean and more importantly, it lends itself quite stylishly to an indie-vintage look.
The second item is the perfect denim cut-off. It's Summer, just go get/make one already!
Lastly the high-waisted trousers. These are especially awesome because their in a bright monochromatic colour which can be carried out into next season. To tone the look down, you'd have to pair them with a thicker nautical-striped cropped vest and a black bowler hat.
